1.  Travel Agent - You may wish to offer travel diaries to all your customers traveling to Portugal, Ireland, Greece, Spain or England during December.

2.  Animal Pet Shop - You may wish to offer 5 free grooming sessions for any pets sold this month.

3.  Cafes - You may offer a little chocolate treat to your customers with their take-away hot drink.

4.  Restaurants - As your customers leave, you may ask your customers to pick a treat from the plate of mini desserts to takeaway with them.  It is so much more enjoyable when the choice is left to the customer.

5.  Mechanics - For those getting their car serviced before they embark on their holiday road trip, you may like to given them a specially designed car freshener with your contact details clearly marked.

6.  Music Stores - You may wish to approach one of the major music stores, like Sony, and ask them for a copy of the music sheet of a song from the latest album by artist X before the song has been mass-released via the soundwaves.

7.  Retailer (Bags) - You may wish to hide a coin pouch in the bags, along with a poem, so they get a surprise when they get home. 

Get someone a magazine subscription to a magazine that they normally wouldn't be caught reading.  You might spark a new hobby/interest in that person. (22/365)

If you own a music store in a rural area, it is really hard for an artist to travel all the way to the beautiful countryside to make an in-store appearance, and sign autographs for the fans.

To get around this, you may wish to involve the locals and invite them to sing live in store from the recent album of the most popular selling artist at the moment.

You may also like to speak to the music studios and suggest that your business can now hook up live to a screen with the national broadband network (nbn),  and have that artist sing from Los Angeles to your rural store.  It's a win for the studio, and it is also a win for your store.
